 Origin Cocoa Powder
Bio-cocoa powder is made from the cocoa bean, which is the fruit of the cocoa tree. The cacao tree is found in countries around the equator and from the cacao beans, among other things, chocolate can be made. The cocoa mass of the cocoa bean is used to make cocoa powder. The mass is pressed under high pressure to create pure cocoa powder.

Forastero Beans
Our cocoa powder regular organic comes from the forastero cacao tree. This cocoa is originally from the Amazon, but today it is mainly grown in West Africa. This tree contains 30 to 40 pure cocoa beans per pod. In addition, this cocoa accounts for 80% of the world's cocoa crop. The Forastero cacao contains a flat and powerful flavour.

Healthy Properties Cacao Powder
Cocoa powder contains antioxidants and is a rich source of minerals. To ensure the best quality, the pods are hand harvested and selected. In addition, our cocoa is fermented, which reduces the initial bitterness. The production process ensures that the nutritional value of the beans in the cocoa powder is largely retained without any additives.
